Part of the sewer line under construction in Murang'a Town. Nema has halted the construction project after residents and business owners complained that the contractor was exposing them to raw sewage.
The Nema area office said they had received complaints from members of the public and business people in the town who said Toddy Civil Engineering, who had been contracted by Tana Water Services Board
Long-serving KenGen boss Eddy Njoroge, who left despite having three more years on his contract, was replaced in an acting capacity by Simon Ngure.
